The best point guard prospects in the 2017 NCAA Tournament

Lonzo Ball - UCLA. 6'5" 195. freshman. ...Ball may well be a franchise changing player in the NBA. The 2016-17 Pac-12 Freshman of the Year, is a point guard that processes at a higher speed than his fellow competitors. He sees the entire floor and he makes everyone who plays with him better. Ball averages 14.6 points (54.4% FG, 41% 3-pt., 68% FT), 6.1 rebounds, 7.7 assists, and 1.9 steals per game. He has quick reactions defensively and his he is among the small percentage of guards who have a better defensive rating than their team does. ...As a prep: McDonald's All-American. Jawun Evans - Oklahoma St. 6'0" 175. freshman. ...Evans has game-chaning speed and a low center of gravity that makes him difficult to contain. He averages 19 points (career 40% 3-pt FG) and six assists per game as a sophomore. The six assists per game was good enough to lead the Big 12. His career assist-to-turnover ratio is 2.1-to-1. He averages 16.8 points, 4.1 rebounds, and 4.8 assists per game. The shooting percentages from deep are not where you want a point guard to be. Fox has taken 62 threes and made just 15 (24% 3-pt. FG).
