Achiuwa, Precious Memphis  6'9" 225 C frosh.

Achiuwa is a defensive player that can guard virtually everyone on the court. At 6'9", he is agile, nimble, quick, and long; a NBA athlete for sure. He is a great rebounder. Achiuwa averaged 15.8 points  10.8 rebounds, and 1.9 blocked shots per game in 2019-20. He was the AAC Player of the Year. ...He is a inconsistent outside shooter (32.5% 3-pt FG), and a poor free throw shooter (59.9% FT). He had nearly three times as many turnovers as assists.  ...Achiuwa was a 2019 McDonald's All-American but he is old for his class. He will be 21 by the time of the 2020 NBA Draft. …We expect Achiuwa to be taken late in the lottery. The landscape of BIGs in the NBA is too crowded with skilled players to think Achiuwa can return value if taken so early. Despite his ability to rim-run, and handle it a little bit, we think he would be a third-string guy right now on most NBA rosters. That said, Achiuwa is a upside play that may well pan out if he fully develops.

Our best advice: in 2009, the 40th pick was Derrick Brown. We advised, "draft Danny Green."
