Agbaji, Ochai Kansas 6'6" 216 SG SR.

Agbaji is a talented right handed wing that was the leading scorer for the National Champions. He was named Most Outstanding Player in the 2022 NCAA Tournament. Agbaji was the Big 12 Player of the Year as well. He averaged 18.8 points, 5.1 rebounds, and 1.6 assists as a Kansas Senior. His deep shooting is a strength in his game but he will also take it to the rim and finish above others. He tested with a 39" max. vert. at the NBA Draft Combine, and he posted the sixth fastest 3/4-court sprint time. Agbaji shot 40.7% 3-pt FG in 2021-22. He made 74.3% of his free throws. Clearly, he likes to score. He improved as a cutter, and he really is ready to help an NBA team as a scorer right now. He has good offensive instincts. ...Agbaji loves to shoot which results in tunnel vision too often. He finished his career with more turnovers than assists which is concerning to us. No guard should ever have that distinction. The Kansas team DEFRTG was 3.3 points better than Agbaji's DEFRTG. That said, we've seen Agbaji sacrifice his body to take charges, something you don't always see from scorers. His wingspan is 6'10.25". ...Agbaji played more minutes in 2021-22 than any Big 12 player. He finished third in the conference in boxscore plus/minus. Agbaji  proved himself to be a "gamer".  He improved at getting to the free throw line over his years as a Jayhawk. We believe he will be drafted in the middle of the first round. We foresee him being a future top-tier offensive-minded reserve wing in the NBA.

Our best advice: in 2018, the 23rd pick was Aaron Holiday. We advised, "draft Robert Williams."
