The most pesky defender in this Draft class is Jose Alvarado. He is a thief! He is a right handed Point Guard that brings grit, hustle, and heart to a team. Alvarado averaged 15.2 points, 3.5 rebounds, 4.1 assists, and 2.8 steals per game. He was named ACC Defensive Player of the Year. Alvarado's assist-to-turnover ratio was 2.0-to-1. He shot 39% 3-pt fg., and 83.8% FT. ...Alvarado is the son of a boxer. He grew up with boxing as part of his youth. He brings that toughness to the basketball court. The opposing Point Guard cannot relax when Alarado is guarding him. …We do not think he will be drafted but we DO think Alvarado can be an NBA backup PG. He would be our first call for Summer League for sure.
Our best advice: in 2015, the 11th pick was Myles Turner. We advised, "draft Devin Booker."
