Bailey, Amari

frosh.

Bailey is a left-handed combo guard with solid skills and athleticism. He averaged 11.2 points, 3.8 rebounds, and 2.2 assists as a Bruins freshman. Bailey improved his play and efficiency as the season progressed. He shot 38.9% from three-point land, and 69.8% FT. During the college season, Bailey had more turnovers than assists but at the NBA Draft Combine scrimmages he reversed the trend. UCLA was 2.7 points per 100 possessions better defensively with Bailey off the floor. He has a 6'7" wingspan. Bailey has good speed, and he posted a 35" max. vert at the Combine. We believe Bailey will be taken in the middle of the second round. We view him as a potential low tier backup combo guard in the NBA.

Our best advice: in 2009, the 38th pick was Jon Brockman. We advised, "draft Danny Green."
