Ball, Lonzo UCLA 6'5" 190 PG frosh. Ball may well be a franchise changing player in the NBA. The 2016-17 Pac-12 Freshman of the Year, is a point guard that processes at a higher speed than his fellow competitors. He sees the entire floor and he makes everyone who plays with him better. Ball averaged 14.6 points (55.1% FG, 41.2% 3-pt., 67.3% FT), 6.0 rebounds, 7.6 assists, and 1.8 steals per game. He has quick reactions defensively and his he is among the small percentage of guards who had a better defensive rating than their team did. The last time he was measured was 2014. At that time, his wingspan was 6'7" (same as Emmanuel Mudiay and Elfrid Payton). ...Ball does not create much offense for himself. Our one criticism of his game was that he was too unselfish at times. ...As a prep: McDonald's All-American. He helped Chino Hills (California) post a perfect 35-0 record during his senior season, culminating in the 2016 CIF State Open Division Championship. ...Ball is a pleasure to watch play the game. We think he will thrive in the NBA due to his basketball I.Q. and overall skill level.

Good advice: In 2007, the 1st pick in the NBA Draft was Greg Oden. We advised, "Draft Kevin Durant."
