Barnes, Scottie  Florida St. 6'7" 225 SF frosh.

Barnes is a multi-faceted prospect. He will probably end up playing 3, 4, or 5 in the NBA. He averaged 10.3 points, 4.0 rebounds, 4.1 assists, and 1.5 steals. He was a plus defender in his lone season at Florida St. Barnes is a kid, at 6'9", that can initiate offense. He handles the ball well, and he can score himself on bully drives, or he will find open teammates. Right-handed. He had a 1.66-to-1 assist-to-turnover ratio. ...Barnes' shooting ability is sketchy at this stage of his career. He shot 27% 3-pt., and 62.1% FT. Barnes was a McDonald's All-American in 2019-20. He has three Team USA Gold Medals (wins in U16, U17, and U19). ...He is a gregarious kid that smiles often and spreads good vibes. ...Barnes will likely be the sixth player selected in this Draft. ...Barnes made plays that made us say, "wow!" Our only reservation with Barnes is with his shooting. Even if he never improves his stroke, he can still play due to his hoop i.q. and defensive ability.

Our best advice: in 2011, the 4th pick was Tristan Thompson. We advised, "draft Kawhi Leonard."
