Bell, Jordan  Oregon  6'9" 224 C jr. Bell is a freak athlete that is as quick to the ball with reactions as any player we've come across. He has an uncanny knack for blocking shots. Bell averaged 10.9 points, 8.8 rebounds, and 2.3 blocked shots per game in 2016-17. His DEFRTG was significantly (6 points per 100 possessions) better than the Ducks team DEFRTG. ...Bell owns a 38" max. vert. (same as Brice Johnson, and Jeremy Lamb). ...Bell had slightly more turnovers than assists. ...Bell, in our opinion, can guard positions one through four. Some smaller Centers would also be within his guarding ability. ...I think his only offensive position is as a pivot in a small-ball scheme. He just doesn't make plays for others or have the face-up game (yet). ...Bell has improved his stroke. He raised his free throw percentage from the 50's to 71% this season. ...Bell's standing reach is 8'8.5" (same as Tyler Zeller). ...Bell was fun to watch at Oregon. He makes hustle plays and clearly helps a team on D. Because the pool of pivots is so deep we think he is a bench guy (mid-tier). If he was available late in round two, I'd give him a long look.

Good advice: In 2003, the 39th pick in the NBA Draft was Slavko Vranes. We advised, "Draft Kyle Korver."
