Bolden, Jonah Australia 6'10" 215 PF 1/2/1996 Bolden is a 21 year-old forward that played well this season in the Adriatic League. Bolden was awarded the ABA League Top Prospect title, after averaging 12.9 points (48% FG, 40.5% 3-pt., 60.2% FT) and 7.2 rebounds per game in his rookie season. His DEFRTG was better than his team's DEFRTG (always a good sign). ...He played the 2015-16 season at UCLA.  Bolden made 11 starts as a Bruin, averaging 4.6 points and 4.8 rebounds in 21.7 minutes per game. Bolden thought he was being utilized in the wrong way at UCLA so he decided to turn pro and play overseas. Bolden fancies himself as a combo-forward. But the truth is, at this point he is more of a four than a three due to his decision-making. He has more turnovers than assists. ...He is the son of Bruce Bolden who is an American player that played professionally in Australia. Jonah was born in Australia and moved to the USA as a high school Senior. Bolden played for the Australia national under-19 basketball team in the FIBA Under-19 World Championship in 2013. ...Bolden still has upside. He has the ability to finish above the rim yet also enough finesse to make jump shots. He is certainly well-traveled for a 21 year-old. We think he can be a backup in the NBA that might be able to carve out a niche as a "three and D" guy.

Decent Advice: In 2003, the 48th pick in the NBA Draft was James Lang. We advised, "Draft Kyle Korver."
