Boucher, Chris  Oregon  6'10" 182 PF SR. Do you draft a 24 year-old? That question became even more murky when Chris Boucher tore his ACL during the Pac-12 Tournament. Prior to the injury, Boucher was a three-point shooting, shot blocking prospect with a unique game. Boucher was averaging 11.8 points, 6.1 rebounds, and 2.5 blocked shots per game. ...Defensively, Boucher can be troublesome for opposing PF's that like to shoot from the perimeter. Boucher routinely blocked shots from the wing. ...Boucher is not a playmaker for others. He turns it over nearly three times as much as he assists. He shot 35% 3-pt. fg., and 64% FT. ...Boucher is skinny; 6'10" with only 182 lbs. on a thin frame. We worry about further injuries. He has a standing reach of 9'2.5" (only a half-inch less than Serge Ibaka and Thon Maker.) ...Boucher played two seasons at two different junior colleges before enrolling at Oregon for the 2015-16, and 2016-17 seasons. ...Born Jan 11, 1993 (already 24 years-old).

Good advice: In 2003, the 39th pick in the NBA Draft was Slavko Vranes. We advised, "Draft Kyle Korver."
