Brea is a 22 year-old, right-handed sharpshooter. He averaged 11.6 points, 3.2 rebounds, and 1.3 assists per game. He shot 43.5% 3-pt. FG, and 91.4% FT which makes him arguably the best shooter in this Draft. And that's what he does mostly. Shoot. He doesn't get to the foul line often at all. He does make timely cuts. He led the entire NCAA in 3-pt. FG% in 2023-24 at Dayton. Brea played four seasons at Dayton and finished his career at Kentucky. As a bonus, he takes really good care of the ball, limiting mistakes. His assist-to-turnover ratio was 2.82-to-1. Unfortunately, Brea's DEFRTG was poor. He was 5 points worse than the Kentucky team DEFRTG. ...Brea jumped a 34" max. vert. at the 2025 NBA Draft Combine. We anticipate Brea being taken in the middle of round two. We think Brea's shooting accuracy will always give him a chance. He has a nice feel for team basketball on offense.
