Bronny joined USC about a month into their season after having cardiac arrest in July of 2023. In that sense, it is hard to judge a prospect coming off of something so serious. James averaged 4.8 points, 2.8 rebounds, and 2.1 assists in 2023-24. He shot 26.7% 3-pt. FG, and 67.6% FT. He showed his feel for the game by posting a 1.96-to-1 assist-to-turnover ratio. He has excellent speed. James' DEFRTG was 3.0 points worse than the Trojans' team DEFRTG. He has a 6'7" wingspan and he jumped a 40.5" max. vert. at the NBA Draft Combine. We believe Bronny will be selected late in round two. At this stage, he would be a deep bench player in the NBA. His athletic profile is legitimate and those players CAN hit later in their development. (see video)

Our best advice: in 2020, the 13th pick was Kira Lewis Jr.. We advised, "draft Aaron Nesmith."
