Brooks, Dillon Oregon   6'6" 220 SG jr. Brooks was the 2016-17 Pac-12 Player of the Year. He has a scorer's mentality. While he will not overwhelm opponents with great athleticism, Brooks is a skilled player that scores inside or outside (40% 3-pt. shooter). He played Power Forward often for the Ducks but we see him as a wing in the NBA. Brooks averaged 16.1 points per game. He is getting better as a decision maker. He went from having more turnovers than assists in his freshman season to posting a 1.32-to-1 assist-to-turnover ratio in his last two seasons combined. ...Brooks is willing to compete. He plays hard and can get mouthy at times when challenged. He is not a great defender. We presently view him as a early second round pick. ...Brooks has short arms by NBA standards. He stands 6'6" and his wingspan is 6'6" (same wingspan as Kirk Hinrich and Darius Johnson-Odom). Brooks jumped a 37.5" max. vert at the NBA Draft Combine (same max. vert. as Avery Bradley and Austin Rivers).

Good advice: In 2012, the 41st pick in the NBA Draft was Tyshaun Taylor. We advised, "Draft Will Barton."
