Carrington is a 18 year-old guard that averaged 13.8 points, 5.2 rebounds and 4.1 assists per game as a freshman in the ACC. Carrington is a low percentage deep shooter (32.2% 3-pt. FG) but he is solid at the free throw line (78.8%) giving hope that his touch, and better shot selection will eventually make him a passable 3-pt threat. His assist-to-turnover ratio was 2.12-to-1. His DEFRTG was troublesome at 3.7 points worse than the Pitt team DEFRTG. Carrington is right-handed and he has a 6'8" wingspan. He posted a 36.5" max. vert. at the 2024 NBA Draft Combine. He is a second cousin of Rudy Gay. We believe Carrington will be picked in the middle of round one by a team chasing his upside. We view him as a potential top-tier reserve in the NBA. (see video)
