Camara is from Belgium. He played at Georgia for two seasons before transferring to Dayton. He is known as a terrific defender, and he was named First Team All Defense in the A-10. The left-hander (he is really good with his right too) really improved as a three-point shooter, raising his percentage in each successive season, topping out at 36.3% this season. Camara averaged 13.9 points and 8.6 rebounds in 2022-23. The rebounding number was good enough to lead the A-10. He finished 2nd in boxscore plus/minus in the conference. He uses either hand well, and he has ability to get past slower FOURs. Camara has never had a season with more assists than turnovers, and his free throw shooting is well below average at 66.9%. ...We could foresee Camara being an NBA starter at some point in his career. However, we are concerned with his overall shooting accuracy. He stood out at the Portsmouth Invitational as one of the best prospects, earning him an invite to the NBA Draft Combine. We do not expect Camara to be drafted but he will likely be signed as an undrafted free agent.

Our best advice: in 2016, the 52nd pick was Joel Bolomboy. We advised, "draft Gary Payton II."
