Chandler, Kennedy Tennessee 6'1" 172 PG frosh.

Chandler is a promising right handed point guard prospect with good burst. He averaged 13.9 points, 3.2 rebounds, and 4.9 assists per game in 2021-22. Chandler was the unquestioned leader of the team that won the SEC Tournament Championship. For his work, he was awarded the MVP trophy for the SEC Tournament. He shot 38% from three-point range but struggled at the foul line, making just 60%. His assist-to-turnover ratio was 1.86-to-1. He impressed with his ability to read and make quick zip  passes. He is decisive. Chandler finished 8th in the SEC in boxscore plus/minus. Defensively, he held his own, with a DEFRTG just slightly worse than the Tennessee team DEFRTG. At the NBA Draft Combine, Chandler jumped 41.5" max. vert. (best of the 2022 Combine). He posted top-five times in lane agility and shuttle run. Despite just finishing his freshman year, Chandler is the age of a soph. (he will be 20 the 2022-23 NBA season begins). Chandler was a McDonald's All-American. ...Chandler showed us intangible qualities that we enjoy seeing in a young guard. Most likely, he will be selected in the 20's. We think he is better than that due to his leadership ability and skills with ball in his hands.

Our best advice: in 2015, the 14th pick was Cameron Payne. We advised, "draft Bobby Portis."
