Cheatham, Zylan Arizona St. 6'8" 220 SF SR.  The more I watched Cheatham, the more I believed in his ability. He improved as a shooter from deep range, and as a decision maker. He already was a good defender that has a knack for hitting the defensive glass. This season at Arizona State, Cheatham averaged 12.1 points, 10.3 rebounds, and 3.2 assists per game. Cheatham made 44% of his three point shots in 2018-19 (although not a high volume, 11-25 3-pt. FG). Cheatham was voted to the All Pac-12 First Team, as well as First team All-Defense. ...On defense, Cheatham's DEFRTG was 3.5 points better than the Arizona State team DEFRTG. That is no fluke. In his days at San Diego State, he led the Mountain West Conference in DEFRTG. ...Cheatham is trending as a late second round pick (as of May 13, 2019). We think he should be considered in the late first round.

Good Advice: In 2015, the 28th pick in the NBA Draft was R.J. Hunter. We advised, "Draft Kevon Looney."
