Christie, Max  Michigan St.  6'6" 189 LPS frosh.

Christie was a 2020-21 McDonald's All-American that came in hyped as a lottery prospect. However, his season at Michigan State was really a struggle. He averaged 9.3 points, 3.5 rebounds, and 1.5 assists per game. He shot 31.7% 3-pt. FG, and 82.4% FT. He had one more turnover (52) than assist (51). His DEFRTG was horrid. Michigan St. was 6.1 points per 100 possessions better defensively with Christie off the floor. His wingspan is 6'8.75". ...Christie can shoot, and he is a good athlete. But we would let someone else bank on him developing.

Our best advice: in 2016, the 52nd pick was Joel Bolomboy. We advised, "draft Gary Payton II."
