Clarke, Brandon Gonzaga  6'8" 210 PF jr.  Clarke is an explosive, above the rim, athlete! After Zion Williamson, Clarke rates as the second most efficient player in our 2019 NBA Draft database. Clarke averaged 16.9 points (68.7% FG), 8.6 rebounds, and 3.2 blocked shots per game. He has a positive assist-to-turnover ratio but he is inconsistent with perimeter shooting (26.7% 3-pt. fg). Defensively, Clarke is fantastic. He can guard positions 1-4, and some small ball fives as well. Gonzaga was 5.9 points per 100 possessions better on defense with Clarke on the floor. Clarke is a 69.4% FT shooter. ...Clarke started his college career at San Jose State. He played there two seasons before a transfer to Gonzaga. He sat out 2017-18. ...Clarke is a man. He has a mature approach to the game. His timing is a gift. I really like his potential as a two-way, glue type guy. He can guard virtually everyone on the floor (with the exception of BIG fives). ...We expect Clarke to be drafted between 14th to 20th, and we think that will prove to be way too late. We like him as a future top-tier starter in the NBA.

Good Advice: In 2011, the 7th pick in the NBA Draft was Bismack Biyombo. We advised, "Draft Kawhi Leonard."
