Collier, Isaiah

Collier is a 19 year-old guard that has a sturdy frame. He averaged 16.3 points, 2.9 rebounds, 1.5 steals and 4.3 assists per game as a freshman. He shot 33.8% 3-pt FG, and 67.3% FT and in our opinion his form needs doctoring. He had a 1.29-to-1 assist-to-turnover ratio which speaks to his desire to score first. Collier has good speed and he plays fast. He has good vision but he will force plays. Collier was a high usage player. He did a good job of drawing fouls with his aggressive drives. He is right handed and he posted a 34" max. vert. at the NBA Draft Combine. On defense, Collier needs to be more locked in. His DEFRTG was 2.5 points worse than the USC team DEFRTG. His wingspan is only 6'5". We believe Collier will hear his named called in the middle of round one. We view him as a potential top-tier reserve two-guard in the NBA. (see video)

Our best advice: in 2012, the 25th pick was Tony Wroten. We advised, "draft Draymond Green."
