Cooks averaged 17.2 points, 8.8 rebounds, 3.6 assists, and 2.1 blocked shots per game in 2017-18. For his four year career at Winthrop, he shot 34.8% 3-pt. FG, and 69% FT. 2017-18 was his first season with a positive assist-to-turnover ratio. ...On defense, he was a huge difference maker for Winthrop. They were 7.1 points per 100 possessions better with Cook on the floor. He led the Big South in DEFRTG. ...He led the Big South in boxscore plus/minus as well. ...Cooks is from Australia. He is a feisty competitor that we saw get ejected from a game for arguing with a referee. ...Cooks is not going to be drafted.
