Coward is a player that has continued to improve. He played two seasons at Eastern Washington, and then had a brief stint at Washington State. He is a 21 years-old, right handed wing. Coward only played in six games this season before suffering a shoulder injury. The injury, which required surgery, included a partially torn labrum, a jagged rotator cuff, and an articular cartilage tear. He averaged 17.7 points, 7 rebounds, and 3.7 assists per game. He shot 40% 3-pt. FG, and 83.9% FT. He is 6'5" with a 7'2" wingspan and quick hands. He has the tools to be a plus defender in the NBA. He jumped a 38.5" max. vert. at the 2025 NBA Draft Combine. Coward led the Big Sky in 2022-23 boxscore plus/minus. We think he will be drafted in the middle of round one. We like him better than that. Coward, because of his length, can potentially defend four NBA positions. He can shoot. That's what you want. Don't overthink it.

Our best advice: in 2021, Josh Primo was drafted 12th. We advised, "draft Jalen Johnson."
