Dante battled injuries (torn ACL in his sophomore year) in his NCAA career but in 2023-24 he re-emerged healthy and he was very productive. He is a BIG, right-handed Center that finishes above the rim. He uses either hand well. He averaged 17 points, 9.2 rebounds and 1.9 blocked shots per game. He was named First Team All Pac-12 the last two seasons. He was the Pac-12 Tournament MVP in 2024. Dante has a 7'6" wingspan! His hands are just okay. Dante did not shoot any three-point shots in 105 college games. He understands his role and he seldom shot outside the paint. He connected on 69.5% FG but just 61.3% FT. His career FG% of 65.4% ranks second all-time in the Pac-12. Dante can be a difference maker on defense. His DEFRTG was 6.4 points better than the Oregon team DEFRTG. He was named to the Pac-12 All-Defensive Team. He had more turnovers than assists. We do not foresee Dante being drafted but we think he should be selected. We view him as a potential mid-tier starting Center in the NBA if healthy. (see video)
