Davis is a small, fiery, right handed guard. He can hit the three-ball when in rhythm. He averaged 21.9 points, 3.7 rebounds, and 5.4 assists per game. He shot 34.6% 3-pt. FG, and 85.4% FT. He was named First Team All-AAC, and he was the AAC Tournament MVP. His 1.76-to-1 assist-to-turnover ratio is good for a scorer. He played five years of NCAA ball and he improved his scoring average each season. He started at TCU (one season), played three seasons at SMU, and finished up at Memphis. His DEFRTG was 2.3 points worse than the Memphis team DEFRTG. …He will not be drafted. Davis turned us off with his body language toward teammates and his temper tantrums. We do believe he is skilled enough offensively to play in the NBA.

Our best advice: in 2013, the 9th pick was Trey Burke. We advised, "draft C.J. McCollum."
