Duval, Trevon Duke 6'3" 191 PG frosh Duval is an electrifying Point Guard that has a higher ceiling than any of the PG prospects in the 2018 NBA Draft. Duval averaged 10.3 points and 5.6 assists per game as a Duke freshman. While his numbers were pedestrian at best, he showed enough flash and feel to be considered as a top prospect. The knock on Duval is his perimeter shooting. He shot just 29% from beyond the college arc, and just 59% at the foul line. ...Duval has excellent vision (better than 2-to-1 assist-to-turnover ratio). ...Duval is right handed with big hands. He gets his mitts on many loose balls. ...Had Duval been asked to provide more scoring we think he could have. Duke had no shortage of scorers and Duval was often the fifth option. He played on the USA Basketball Junior Select team. ...Coming out of high school, Duval was considered the number one PG prospect, ahead of Trae Young, Shai Gilgeous Alexander, and Collin Sexton (Sexton is more of a TWO). ...There is just too much goodness in Duval's game for him to slide into the second round. If he improves his shooting, and continues to attack the rim, he could be special.

Good Advice: In 2012, the 26th pick in the NBA Draft was Miles Plumlee. We advised, "Draft Draymond Green."
