Edwards averaged 8.8 points and 3.4 rebounds in 2023-24. He shot 36.5% 3-pt. FG, and 77.6% FT. He had slightly more assists than turnovers and there were times on the break when he could have passed ahead but bet on himself as the finisher. He was a 2023 McDonald's All-American. Edwards has some shot creation ability. Edwards' DEFRTG was 2.7 points worse than the Kentucky team DEFRTG. He posted really slow times in the lane agility drill at the NBA Draft Combine. Likewise, his 32.5" max. vert. was underwhelming. He does have a 6'10" wingspan. Edwards is left-handed. We anticipate Edwards being drafted in the middle of round two. He simply didn't show us enough as a freshman to buy in to using a pick on him. (see video)
