Ellis, Keon  Alabama  6'5" 167 SG SR.

Ellis is a right-handed wing that can shoot it, create a little bit, and he plays defense effectively. Ellis averaged 12.1 points, 6.1 rebounds, 1.8 assists, and 1.9 steals per game. He shot 36.6% 3-pt FG, and 88.1% FT. His 88.1% FT was the best in the SEC. His assist-to-turnover ratio is 1.13-to-1. Ellis' DEFRTG was a full 2 points better than the Alabama team DEFRTG. He was named to the SEC All-Defensive team. Ellis is a willing charge-taker. He finished sixth in SEC boxscore plus/minus. He is a well conditioned athlete (only 3.8% body fat). His wingspan is 6'8.5". His max vert is 35.5". Ellis played two seasons at Alabama after two years at Florida Southwestern State College. We are not sure that Ellis will be drafted. We view him as a future top-tier reserve wing in the NBA.

Our best advice: in 2014, the 42nd pick was Nick Johnson. We advised, "draft Thanasis Antetokounmpo."
