Fultz, Markelle Washington 6'4" 185 PG frosh. Fultz is the likely first pick in the 2017 NBA Draft. He is a speedy, skilled, point guard that averaged 23.2 points, 5.9 assists, and 5.7 rebounds per game as a freshman. Fultz was solid defensively too. While Washington was a poor team defensively, they were 1.7 points better (per 100 possessions) when Fultz was in the game. Fultz will be drafted for his ability to score. He can create his space with ease. He connected on 41% of his three-point attempts. His free throw percentage is very pedestrian at 64.9% FT. ...Fultz' wingspan is 6',9.75" (same as Roddy Beaubois, and a quarter inch longer than John Wall). ...Fultz and his Washington teammates went 9-22 on the season. While I like the upside of Fultz, in no way do I see him as a CLEAR number one pick. I think he is worthy of being taken in the top six.

Good advice: In 2011 the 4th pick in the NBA Draft was Tristan Thompson. We advised, "Draft Kawhi Leonard."
