He averaged 11.9 points, 6.4 rebounds, and 2.2 assists per game (in 26 mins. per.). ...Florida St. was a much better defensive team with Gray in the game. His DEFRTG was 3.3 points better than the Seminoles team DEFRTG. He shows some touch at the free throw line, making 76% but his three-point shooting was inconsistent at Florida St. (26% career). He had the same amount of assists as turnovers in 2021. ...Gray measured with 17.3% body fat at the NBA Draft Combine. That was the highest among all participants. Obviously, Gray needs to get himself into NBA shape. At this point, he would probably have to play Center on offense due to his lack of deep shooting accuracy. We would pass on Gray and let someone else try to develop him. |
