Hagans is a defensive minded point guard that adds value on that end. He averaged 11.9 points, 3.9 rebounds, 6.4 assists, and 1.9 steals per game. Right handed. The opposing guards definitely "feel" Hagans. Kentucky was .9 points per 100 possessions better defensively with Hagans in the game. You rarely see that kind of DEFRTG differential from a guard 6'3" or under. He was the SEC Defensive Player of the Year as a freshman in 2018-19. ...Hagans finished his two seasons at Kentucky with a 1.78-to-1 assist-to-turnover ratio. ...He has excellent court vision and he plays at NBA speed. He has quick reactions. Hagans struggled to make three-point shots (just 26.5% 3-pt FG) over his two seasons. He did show promise at the free throw line by netting 81% this season past. ...We do not expect Hagans to be drafted but we would absolutely endorse signing him as an undrafted free-agent worth developing.

Good advice... In 2013, the 1st pick was Anthony Bennett. We advised, "draft Victor Oladipo."
