Hifi is a 20 year-old combo guard that can play at NBA speed. He played the 2022-23 season in France but he is originally from Algeria. He averaged 16.7 points, 2.7 rebounds, and 3.4 assists per game. He shot 34.5% 3-pt FG but that is the lowest he's shot in his career. Since 2020, his 3-pt FG% is 37.1%. He shot 84.1% FT this season. His assist-to-turnover ratio is 1.62-to-1. Left handed but he uses either hand exceptionally well. Hifi does a good job putting pressure on opposing defenses. He gets to the foul line often. Hifi's defensive rating was slightly better than his team's DEFRTG, always a good sign in a guard. We do not expect Hifi to be drafted but we think he should be. He defends. He can shoot. He shares it. We think he can be a starter at some point in the NBA.
