Hunter, DeAndre Virginia  6'7" 212 SF soph.  Hunter is presently trending as the consensus fifth pick in the 2019 NBA Draft. He averaged 15.2 points, 5.1 rebounds, and 2 assists per game on his way to a NCAA Championship. Hunter made 43.8% of his three-point field goals. He hit 78.3% of his free throws. His 1.56-to-1 assist-to-turnover ratio is strong for a small forward. ...Hunter finished fourth in the ACC in boxscore plus/minus. ...On defense, Hunter was named ACC Defensive Player of the Year but curiously, Virginia was 3.6 points better per 100 possession on D with Hunter OFF the floor. ...We have some concerns about Hunter's lack of dynamic play for a guy who will go in the top half of the lottery. He had too many passive moments for us to think he can be a star in the NBA. To us, he is most likely a very solid player that eventually starts but never is a big scorer.

Good Advice: In 2011, the 14th pick in the NBA Draft was Marcus Morris. We advised, "Draft Kawhi Leonard."
