Morant, Ja Murray St. 6'3" 170 PG soph.  Morant broke out as a sophomore, blossoming into the consensus number two pick in the 2019 NBA Draft. He is a shifty, explosive guard with excellent vision. This season, Morant averaged 24.5 points, 10 assists, and 5.7 rebounds per game! He shot 36.3% from three-point range, and 81.3% at the line. ...Morant is explosive going to the basket. He throws risky passes but still had a 1.94-to-1 assist-to-turnover ratio.  He can make difficult one-handed passes with either hand. ...Morant led the Ohio Valley Conference in boxscore plus/minus. ...Ja was trained and coached HARD by his father. He has special ability to see/read plays. ...He has moments of indifference on defense as most young players do. He will be asked to tighten that up. ...Overall, Morant looks like a future top-five Point Guard in the NBA.

Good Advice: In 2011, the 3rd pick in the NBA Draft was Enes Kanter. We advised, "Draft Kawhi Leonard."
