Jefferson averaged 10.9 points, 8.4 rebounds, and 1.9 blocked shots per game as a fifth year Senior in 2016-17.  He posted the second-best field goal percentage in Duke history at 62% FG. ...In his Duke career, he never attempted a three-point shot. He made just 57.5% of his free throws. …Jefferson had slightly more assists than turnovers. Defensively, the Blue Devils were much better with Jefferson on the floor. His DEFRTG was 4.1 points (per 100 possessions) better than the Duke team DEFRTG. ...Jefferson is a well-seasoned player that played in 12 NCAA Tournament games, helping Duke win the NCAA championship in 2015.
