Jerome, Ty  Virginia 6'6" 194 PG jr.  Ty Jerome was among the most improved players in college hoops. He is a consensus late first round pick that is expected to bring size and shooting to the point guard position at the next level. Jerome averaged 13.6 points, 4.2 rebounds, and 5.5 assists per game. He hit 39.9% of his three-point shots, while converting 78.8% of his career free throws. His 2.55-to-1 assist-to-turnover ratio is outstanding. ...Ty Jerome finished third in the ACC in boxscore plus/minus. He has a high hoops IQ.  ...He has short arms (wingspan is 6'4") and he was a minus defender at Virginia. ...We view Jerome as a backup PG at his peak in the NBA. I'd feel more comfortable drafting him round two than round one.

Good Advice: In 2006, the 34th pick in the NBA Draft was Paul Davis. We advised, "Draft P.J. Tucker."
