Jones led the AAC in boxscore plus/minus in 2023-24. He averaged 21.8 points, 7.6 rebounds, 1.8 assists, and 2.2 steals per game in 2023-24. He shot a career-best 38% from three-point range, and he has deep range. He made 79% of his free throws. He was named First Team All-AAC. Jones does a good job of drawing fouls. His DEFRTG was 2.7 points better than the Memphis team DEFRTG. Jones played his first two seasons at DePaul, then spent one year at St. John's before finishing up at Memphis. He jumped a 34.5" max. vert. at the NBA Draft Combine. He is left-handed. Jones can score for sure but he has the wingspan of a point guard and the feel for team basketball of a scorer with tunnel-vision. Jones had 59 assists but 96 turnovers. We do not foresee Jones being drafted. We do think he could be capable of carving out a Jae'sean Tate-ish space in the NBA. (see video)
