Jones, Tre Duke 6'3" 187 PG Soph.  Tre Jones is a right handed Point Guard that uses change of pace very well. He scored 16.2 points per game, while dishing 6.4 assists per outing as a Duke sophomore. Tre is the younger brother of NBA Point Guard, Tyus Jones. Tre shot 36.1% from beyond the college arc in 2019-20. He shot 77% FT. …Jones was the 2019-20 ACC Player of the Year, as well as the Defensive Player of the Year in the tough conference. While that is a nice accomplishment, it must be noted that Duke was statistically 2.9 points per 100 possessions better defensively when Jones was OFF the floor. ...Jones finished 5th in the ACC in boxscore plus/minus. ...There is no doubt Jones knows the game and will fit in seamlessly in the NBA. ...We view him as a backup Point Guard with some potential to exceed expectations.

Our best advice: in 2006, the 34th pick was Paul Davis. We advised, "draft P.J. Tucker."

Our most sketchy advice: in 2017, the 34th pick was DeVontae Graham. We advised, "draft Keita Bates-Diop."
