Okpala, KZ Stanford 6'10" 210 PF soph.  Okpala averaged 16.8 points and 5.7 rebounds per game. He shot 36.8% 3-pt. FG, and 67.1% FT in 2018-19. Okpala was named First Team All Pac-12. Okpala was a "minus" defender at Stanford. …He was hard to watch at times. I saw wild fluctuations in his play. One game I thought he was terrible, and the next time I saw him, I thought he showed skill and potential. He did a much better job getting to the free throw line as a sophomore than he did in year one. He has good strength and athletic ability, He tested with a 37" max. vert. at the Combine. He has a nearly 7'2" wingspan. ...Consistency and decision making will be key in his development. We believe Okpala will be selected late in the first round. We would be hesitant to use a first round pick on him. He had a high usage rating at Stanford. His skill set won't allow for that in the NBA.

Good Advice: In 2001, the 4th pick in the NBA Draft was Eddy Curry. We advised, "Draft Shane Battier."
