He is the Big East career leader in FG% (65.8% FG). Kalkbrenner was named First Team All Big East as well the conference Defensive Player of the Year. The NABC also pegged him as the National DPoY. His career free throw percentage is 70.9%. Right-handed. He improved his decision making this season, finishing with more assists than turnovers for the first season in his career. His DEFRTG was 4.5 points better than the Creighton team DEFRTG. He led the Big East in boxscore plus/minus. Kalkbrenner was durable too. He is the BIG East career leader in minutes played. We think Kalkbrenner will be taken early in round two. We view him as a potential mid-to-low tier NBA starter in time. We think he is worthy of a first round pick.
