Kolek is a pure point guard that averaged 15.3 points, 4.9 rebounds, 7.7 assists (led the entire NCAA), and 1.6 steals per game. The left-hander has deep range on his jump shot. He shoots with accuracy, making 38.8% of his three-balls, and 85.1% FT. His assist-to-turnover ratio was 2.68-to-1 this season. He was named First Team All Big East. He finished sixth in Big East boxscore plus/minus. Kolek is competitive. He will get on the floor for a loose ball. Despite his smaller stature (6'3" wingspan), Kolek had a positive DEFRTG differential, a testament to his toughness. He is a below average runner/jumper by NBA standards (34" max. vert.). We believe Kolek will be taken late in round one. We view him as a potential mid-tier starter in the NBA if all goes well. Kolek is among the players we trust. He will be a good professional and he will be about the TEAM. (see video)
