Konate, Sagaba West Virginia 6'8" 250 PF jr.  Konate is a shot blocking pivot that anchored the West Virginia defense. He only played in nine games  (due to knee injury) in 2018-19, averaging 13.6 points, 8 rebounds, and 2.8 blocked shots per game. Without Konate, West Virginia was 17.9 points per 100 possessions worse on defense. That is an amazing stat that indicates what a force on defense Konate can be. He tested with a 35" max. vert. at the 2018 NBA Combine, ...He led the NCAA in 2017-18 in block percentage. 2017-18 stats: 10.8 ppg | 7.6 rpg | 3.2 apg | 51.0 2-pt%. ...Konate continues to improve in other areas of the game. He made a noticeable improvement in his free throw stroke, going from 64% as a freshman to nailing 81.3% in 2018-19. ...Konate had more than twice as many turnovers as assists in his career.
