LaRavia, Jake  Wake Forest 6'8" 227 SF jr.

LaRavia is a heady player with good size. One of the better cutters we've seen in college ball in the last few seasons. LaRavia averaged 14.6 points, 6.6 rebounds, 3.7 assists, and 1.7 steals per game as a junior at Wake Forest. He shot 38.4% 3-pt FG, and 77.7% FT. He led the ACC in effective field goal percentage. He moves well without the ball, making timely cuts. Right handed. His assist-to-turnover ratio is 1.37-to-1. LaRavia finished 5th in ACC boxscore plus/minus. He does a good job of getting to the free throw line. He was a "plus" defender with a DEFRTG 1.7 points better than the Wake Forest team DEFRTG. LaRavia has big hands and he is an underrated shot blocker (averaged 1.0 per game). He moves his feet well despite being an average athlete by NBA standards. His max. vert was 34" at the NBA Draft Combine. He played his first two seasons at Indiana St. ...We expect LaRavia to be selected late in the first round. We like him better than that. His size and skill are worth betting on. We envision him as a future starting forward in NBA.

Our best advice: in 2018, the 16th pick was Zhiare Smith. We advised, "draft Robert Williams."
