Lively led the ACC in boxscore plus/minus as a Freshman. He was named First Team All-Defense in the conference. He averaged a very pedestrian 5.2 points, and 5.4 rebounds. Right-handed. What he does do well is block shots. Lively swatted 2.4 shots per contest. He was the ACC's leader in Defensive Rating. Lively has a nice feel for the game, posting a 1.6-to-1 assist-to-turnover ratio. Offensively, Lively has a way to go to be more than a dunker. He made only two of his 13 three-point attempts and he will have to prove he needs to be guarded from beyond 12'. ...We anticipate Lively being selected in the mid to late first round. While we see and acknowledge his undeniable ability to defend, we think his shooting limitations are hard to overcome. As an example, Mo Bamba can't get on the floor for consistent minutes, and we would rank Bamba higher coming out of college than Lively.
