Luis was one of the leaders of a very good St. John's team in 2024-25. Luis averaged 18.2 points. 7.2 rebounds, 1.4 steals. and 2 assists per game. Luis was the Big East Player of the Year. He shot 33.6% from three point range, and he made 74.7% of his foul shots. Luis played three NCAA seasons and he never had more assists than turnovers in any campaign. His DEFRTG was 0.9 points worse than the St. John's team DEFRTG. Right-handed with a 38" max. vert. as tested at the 2025 NBA Draft Combine, Luis finished sixth in Big East boxscore plus/minus. Luis is an old-school 22 year-old forward that took a bunch of two-point shots in St. John's playing style. We do not expect Luis to be drafted. We think he could be a reserve small forward in the NBA.
