Maluach is a 18 year-old Center with a crazy 7'7" wingspan. He averaged 8.6 points, 6.6 rebounds, and 1.3 blocked shots. He is an excellent offensive rebounder and he finishes at the rim in the 99th percentile (according to Synergy). Maluach has a nice touch. He is the rare Center that makes free throws at a 76.6% clip. Maluach attempted 16 three-point shots but only made four (25%). At his pro day he showed that he is probably a much better shooter than that 25% mark. He had more turnovers than assists. Surprisingly, Maluach's DEFRTG was just slightly better (.4) than the Duke team DEFRTG. He lumbers a bit as a runner, and his max. vert. was just 30". Right-handed. Maluach finished third in ACC boxscore plus/minus. We think Maluach will be selected mid-lottery. We view him as a potential top-tier Center in the NBA.
