Matkovic is a big, developed 21 year-old that can shoot it a bit but also has the prerequisite NBA athleticism. He averaged 11.5 points, 6 rebounds, and 1.1 blocked shots in just 22 minutes per game this season in the Adriatic League. He shot 60% FG, and 70% FT. In game situations, Matkovic has not unleashed his three-ball yet but he is more than capable of knocking down a deep shot. He sets wide screens and he can finish well above the rim as a roller. He runs the floor easily for someone 6'11". Matkovic's DEFRTG was 1.6 points better than the KK Mega Bemax team DEFRTG. ...Matkovic plays with enthusiasm. He has room to improve yet. His body can get stronger. He had more turnovers than assists this season. ...We are not sure he will be drafted but we absolutely think he should be. We view Matkovic as a possible top-tier reserve BIG in the NBA. He brings great size, athleticism, and good vibes to a team.
