Mays, Skylar LSU 6'4" 200 SG SR.

Mays is a skilled scoring guard. He is an average to below average runner and jumper by NBA standards but he has crafty, skilled moves, and counters that allow him to be effective. Mays averaged 16.7 points, five rebounds and 3.2 assists per game in 2019-20. He was named First-Team All-SEC. He shot the three-ball well, netting 39% of his attempts. He had a career 1.6-to-1 assist-to-turnover ratio. He is a career 84% free throw shooter. LSU was better defensively (albeit slightly) with Mays on the floor. You don't see that very often with a guard that can shoot. He was fourth in SEC boxscore plus/minus.  ...We think Mays will be picked late in round two.

Our best advice... In 2003, the 46th pick was Sani Becirovic. We advised, "draft Kyle Korver."
