Miles "Deuce" McBride is a tough, right handed guard that will make his opponents "feel him". He averaged 15.9 points 4.8 assists, 3.9 rebounds, and 1.9 steals per game in 2020-21. He shot the three-ball well (41.4%), and he made 81.3% of his foul shots. He finished third in Big-12 boxscore plus/minus. …I like McBride. Opposing PG's can't relax around him. He shoots it. He shares it. He's tough. There is lots to like! Because the depth at the Point Guard position in the NBA is so great, we think McBride may top out as a upper-tier reserve, and ideal third-guard that can change the tempo of a game with his energy and defensive aggression. We expect him to be drafted late in the first round.
Our best advice: in 2015, the 19th pick was Jerian Grant. We advised, "draft Bobby Portis."
