McCullar is a 23 year-old guard that does most of everything well. His deficiencies include being just a 33% three-point shooter and having a bone bruise on his knee late in the season that kept him from playing. He averaged 18.3 points (led the Big-12), 6 rebounds, 4.1 assists, and 1.5 steals in 2023-24. He was named First Team All Big-12. He shot 80.5% FT. McCullar's assist-to-turnover ratio is 1.61-to-1. His DEFRTG was 1.4 points better than the Kansas team DEFRTG. Right handed with a 6'9" wingspan. McCullar is likely to be selected early in round two. We view him as a potential low-tier starter in the NBA. We like that he brings a defensive mindset but can also get a bucket. He is one of the most trustworthy players any team could draft. (see video)

Our best advice: in 2012, the 32nd pick was Tomas Satoransky. We advised, "draft Draymond Green."
