McGusty is a right handed guard that can create his own shot but also moves well without the ball. He averaged 17.8 points, 4.9 rebounds, 2.1 assists and 2.4 assists per game. He shot 35.5% from beyond the college arc, and 81.4% FT. His assist-to-turnover ratio is 1.28-to-1. McGusty was named First Team All-ACC. McGusty does a good job of drawing fouls, and we thought he was among the best cutters in the NCAA. He was at the free throw line often. He held his own defensively which you don't always see from a leading scorer. We do not think McGusty will be drafted. We believe McGusty could play a reserve role in the NBA. McGusty is already 24 years old. He will be 25 by time the NBA season starts.
